Map of Skye

The Isle of Skye is one of the most popular visitor destinations in Scotland with a rich culture and heritage combined with the iconic scenery of the Cuillin Mountain range and wonderful seascapes.

The Island’s official web-site 'skye.co.uk' guides you through what the island has to offer whatever your interest be it climbing, fishing (Portree Angling Association / Salmon & Trout Fishing on the River Snizort), walking, culture, heritage, seaborne adventure or numerous other activities and can help you get the most from your stay.

The Boathouse is situated in the north of the island 10 miles from the islands capital Portree, and looks out across the Minch to the hills of Harris. It is a truly wonderful and private location on a shingle bay within the lands of a private estate, in the same ownership as the Boathouse, leaving guests free to meander along miles of shoreline and really enjoy the freedom of this special place.
